** TRI-DRIVE TRUCKS CAN PULL ROLL-COUPLED TRAILERS IN SASKATCHEWAN **
Tri-drive Truck / Trailer Demonstration Project
Tri-drive truck/trailer combinations using pintle hitches do not meet critical safety performance measures and are not allowed to operate in the Province of Saskatchewan. Roll-coupling the vehicles together improves the stability of these vehicles so Wolf Trailers started working with the Government of Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure Department in a demonstration project involving tri-drive trucks, pony trailers and full trailers. This ground breaking project will open the door for roll-coupling trailers with trucks that have a hitch offset length over 1.8 m in other provinces and countries so we want to include a wide range of vehicles designed for hauling different commodities with hitch offset lengths up to 3.5 m.
Tri-drive tank trucks & tank trailers
We want to include tri-drive tank trucks roll-coupled with quadaxle full trailers to haul crude oil in the Saskatchewan demonstration project. If you want to be involved in the project with tankers or other kinds of tri-drive trucks, please contact:
